Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured their second win in a row in the French top-flight on Sunday, defeating Nantes 2-0 at Parc des Princes.
The visitors took the lead through Kylian Mbappe's penalty in the 27th minute, before Neymar added to his tally just four minutes later. The Brazilian international then set up Angel Di Maria for PSG's third goal in the 66th minute.
PSG's victory is their first win since the international break and they now sit in second place in the table, two points behind leaders Marseille.
Neymar's double was a reminder that he remains one of the best players in the world and he has been instrumental in PSG's resurgence this season. He has scored seven goals and provided five assists in just six games so far this campaign.
Meanwhile, Nantes' defeat means they have now lost three of their last four matches in all competitions and they will be hoping to bounce back against Bordeaux next weekend.
Overall, PSG's win was a much-needed boost for them and it will give them confidence heading into the rest of the season. They still have a lot of work to do if they want to challenge for the title, but at least they have shown that they can compete with the top teams in France.
