**Mac Allister Extends Brighton Contract Until 2027, Renewing Brighton’s Bright Future**
Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club has announced that its long-standing manager, Mac Allister, will remain in charge of the club for another five years until 2027.
The extension marks the second time Allister has extended his contract with Brighton since taking over as manager in January 2018. His first extension was from 2019 to 2024, which coincided with the team winning promotion to the Premier League after a 55-year absence.
Allister’s reign at Brighton has been marked by significant success, including reaching the FA Cup final in 2020 and securing promotion to the top flight in the same year. The club has also enjoyed some notable performances under his leadership, such as a win against Liverpool in the Europa League during the 2021-22 season.
