Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club has announced that their star midfielder, Mac Allister, has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2024.
The Argentine international signed for Brighton in July 2019 and has since made a significant impact on the team, earning himself a place in the Premier League squad.
Allister's contract had originally been due to expire at the end of the season, but he has now agreed to stay with the Seagulls until June 2024.
"Mac is an exceptional player who has made a huge contribution to our team," said Brighton manager Chris Hughton. "We're delighted that he will be staying with us for another three years."
Allister's extension is a major boost for Brighton, who have struggled to compete in the top flight this season. The Argentine midfielder has been one of the standout performers for the club so far, scoring four goals and providing two assists in just eight games.
Despite facing competition from other clubs interested in signing him, Allister has expressed his commitment to the club and his desire to continue playing for them.
"It's a great feeling to extend my contract with the club," he said. "I'm excited about what we can achieve together over the next few years."
